Bio

Gianpaolo Rinaldi is a pianist, hammondist and composer active on the italian jazz scene thanks to a professional career that sees him present as a side man and band leader alongside a large number of musicians among the most significant in the area and strong of important collaborations with national and international artists.

After graduating with honors from the Rovigo Conservatory and numerous master classes around Italy, he plays with artists such as Francesco Berzatti, Pietro Tonolo, Marco Tamburini, Alfonso Deidda, Mauro Negri, Mauro Ottolini, Stefano Bagnoli, Sandro Gibellini, David Boato, Mauro Beggio, Andrea Michelutti, Riccardo Fioravanti, Andrea Lombardini, Nevio Zaninotto, Tommaso Cappellato, Leonardo Di Angilla, Ernesttico, Matteo Sabattini, Marco Micheli and many others.

He has performed in Italy, United States, Canada; Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, England and in important national and foreign theaters and festivals.

At the end of 2018 he released "SUSPENSION" the first bandleader album released for the Birdland Sounds label, of which he wrote and arranged the music together with Mattia Magatelli on double bass and Marco D'Orlando on drums.

In 2022 the trio published its second album called "Sapien's doesn't mean Sapiens" for TAG - The Italian Garage Artist.
