New album with Luigi Vitale & Luca Colussi out soon!
During last days Gianpaolo recorded a new album (on hammond organ) together with Luigi Vitale (vibraphone, balafon and kalimba) and Luca Colussi (drum and percussion).
This work will be released in a couple of months by the important italian label Artesuono and the title will be "Kalimbata" to celebrate the tipical african instrument, since this work is dedicated to the african music and the afro jazz sound.
The Trio was also featuring by some of the finest musician of the italian jazz scene like Francesco Bearzatti (sax); Daniele D'Agaro (sax) Massimo De Mattia (flute); Mirko Cisilino (trumpet) and Denis Biason (guitar).

During last months, Gianpaolo is workin on new music with beloved colleagues Luigi Vitale and Luca Colussi!
The music is afro jazz oriented thanks to the adding of a beatiful etnic instrument like the Balafon and percussions on the set.

Gianpaolo Rinaldi Trio: new album "Sapiens doesn't mean Sapiens" soon out!
The new album, feauturing Mattia Magatelli and Marco D'Olando, dedicated to Yuval Noah Harari's toughts will be published in April by Tag, the Garage Artist.
In the next days the first teaser will be out.
There's also a great concert booked for this new music: the trio will perform for Jazzinsieme Festival in Pordenone on the 20th of May.

We live the present mentioned by Jazzit!
It's a joy to see that "We Live the present", the new album from Francesco Minutello 4tet, is mentioned as one of the 100 best jazz album in Italy in 2021.
Gianpaolo recorded piano and keyboard for this album together with Francesco Minutello on trumpet, Simone Serafini on bass and Max Trabucco on drum.

Gianpaolo Rinaldi Trio: new album!
Gianpaolo recorded a new trio album together with Mattia Magatelli on doublebass and Marco D'Orlando on drum.
The recording session is by Francesco Marzona at Black Mirror Studio, Udine, Italy.
The second work of the trio will be composed by eight tracks: two of them are video-recorded too.
Now the band is workin' on the post-production and the album will be released in the coming months.

Duo with Andrea Lombardini for TSJF 2021
Gianpaolo performed at Treviso Suona Jazz Festival 2021 together with the brilliant italian bass player and songwriter Andrea Lombardini.
The duo explores the sounds of Rhodes combined with the electric bass, combining both with the effects.

Premiere of the new album of Francesco Minutello called "We live the present"
Liberty is the first published tune from the new album of the trumpet player Francesco Minutello.
The album, recorded with Max Trabucco on drum, Simone Serafini on bass and Gianpaolo on piano and rhodes, will be soon realesed for the well known italian label Artesuono.

New shows with the project dedicated to John Coltrane - "Un amore Supremo"
Finally, there are some shows in the future.
During the last moths, Gianpaolo worked on a new project called John Coltrane - un amore supremo together with Francesco Bearzatti on sax and Luca Colussi on drum.
The concerts have a musical part but also a drama one thanks to the presence of Claudia Grimaz and Valerio Marchi as actors.
First shows will take place next May:

Gianpaolo recorded a new album with Francesco Minutello 4tet.
During last days, the band, composed by Francesco Minutello on trumpet, Simone Serafini on doublebass, Max Trabucco on drum and Gianpaolo on piano and fender rhodes, recorded its third album together in Artesuono Studio, one of the most important on the european jazz scene.
The album will be soon available.
